Technical Solutions Specialist
Overview:
We seek an experienced Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing technical expertise and support to our customers, consultants, and sales staff.
In this position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategic plans to pursue them.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a proven track record of success in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical insight and solution development to Customers, Consultants, and Honeywell Sales staff.
Support both sales professionals and customers during the technical requirement definition and solution development sales process steps.
Participate in the creation of the customer technical roadmap; customers include internal and external stakeholders.
Work as a team player with many sales professionals in the assigned geography; act as a resource to address the customer's technical and application requirements.
Provide coaching to sales professionals as it relates to their assigned application specialty.
Achieve orders, margin, and growth for assigned areas of expertise within the region.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualified (trade or degree) in a business or engineering related discipline – degree preferred.
10+ years of technical solution experience.
Domain experience in Fire Alarm systems.
Essential technical experience with skills in field hardware, Fire, PAVA, Security or BMS systems.
Ability to position technical features and functions into customer value.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to internal and external customers (e.g., customer specs, white papers, trade shows).
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities concurrently.
