About the role
The Ripley Commissioning Director will lead and oversee the operational commissioning activities for the Ripley Satellite Hospital and assist with the development of the Sub-Acute 90-bed facility.
This role is the conduit bringing together all components of the project and will act as the liaison between project partners, operational commissioning stakeholders, and the operational service delivery. The role will provide high-level leadership and coordination of all service commissioning and planning requirements associated with health care services provided at Ripley to ensure alignment across multiple specialities and settings.
About you
- Experience in effectively leading and managing large complex projects within the healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in developing and implementing commissioning activities as part of a service delivery project.
- Superior communication and engagement skills, conveying clear and compelling messages with the ability to develop strong and trusted professional relationships with key stakeholders particularly in a health service environment.
- Proven analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills including the ability to negotiate, respond promptly and authoritatively within short timeframes, influence stakeholders and manage staff/consultants to effectively achieve project outcomes.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
