These opportunities don't present often We are seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join this leading Food Manufacturer in the South Eastern Suburbs. As an experienced Maintenance Fitter you will be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting and project works.

The role is being offered on a day shift basis working Monday-Friday, plus assisting every couple of months on a week of afternoon shift, there is paid regular overtime.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of existing equipment
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Preventative maintenance as per maintenance plan
- Working on new projects
- General duties as required

Skills & Attributes:

- Experience in Food Manufacturing or FMCG essential
- Australian Trade qualifications in Fitting and or Mechanical Engineering
- Restricted Electrical advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player
- Experienced in pneumatics
- Availability to do overtime

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Food Industry Fitter who enjoys working with a committed team and hoping to secure long term work, the role is being initially offered labour hire with the intention of converting to permanency. Working for this global company you will received attractive rates of pay in excess of $50 per hour plus overtime and penalty when working afternoon shift, the company offers a yearly bonus based on performance.
