Role Overview
The Operations Specialist will play a critical role in managing our global supply chain, inventory, and logistics processes.
You'll work closely with our 3PL partners, manufacturers, and internal team to ensure our products are always available, our systems run smoothly, and our customers receive their orders on time.
Key Responsibilities
3PL Coordination & Order Support
Act as the main point of contact with our global 3PL partners (AU, USA, UK, EU).
Monitor and resolve order issues, delays, and discrepancies.
Ensure SLAs and customer delivery expectations are met.
Inventory Management & Demand Planning
Track inventory levels across multiple markets and warehouses.
Forecast demand based on sales trends, marketing campaigns, and seasonality.
Identify potential stock-outs and recommend proactive solutions.
Procurement & Ordering
Raise and manage purchase orders with manufacturers and suppliers.
Coordinate inbound shipments, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
Negotiate lead times and ensure production schedules align with demand
Systems & Process Management
Manage and optimise our stock management system (Cin7).
Maintain accurate stock reconciliations and reporting.
Develop and refine SOPs to improve efficiency across operations.
Cross-Functional Support
Partner with marketing and sales teams to plan inventory for new product launches and promotions.
Support finance with accurate COGS, landed cost, and margin reporting.
Assist with compliance and documentation requirements for international distribution.
Continuous Improvement
Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
Suggest and execute strategies for cost savings in logistics and supply chain.
Drive automation and system adoption across operations.
About You
2–4 years' experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics (preferably in eCommerce or FMCG).
Strong understanding of 3PL management, inventory planning, and procurement.
Hands-on experience with stock management systems (Cin7 experience highly desirable).
Data-driven with strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems.
Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment.
