- Position Summary: This role is responsible for communicating and collaborating with all stakeholders including Buying, Operations, e-Commerce, Depot and suppliers.**Job Duties/Essential Functions**
- Communicating with stakeholders, including Buying, Depot, operations, e-Commerce and suppliers to relate and gather information and to resolve issues, such as but not limited to product, delivery and marketing information
- Loading and setting up item information in the AS400 system, from item and delivery specifications to technical product information
- Updating item and vendor records for changes such as, price, descriptions, delivery specifications, marketing information and technical product information
- Monitoring the quality of photos, copy, and merchandise information provided by suppliers
- Planning and forecasting sales plans and Open to Buys across multiple categories
- Reviewing inventory across all warehouses, depot and e-Commerce site
- Generating and managing daily purchase orders across multiple departments and categories, in AS400 system and in
- conjunction with the SAP Hybris e-Commerce platform
- Daily data entry reporting and buying system maintenance using Google, Microsoft & AS400
- Setting up, coordinating and managing marketing promotions in a timely manner in-conjunction with the Buying,
- Marketing and e-Commerce teams
- Generating presentations through Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Assisting the Buyer and Assistant Buyer with various merchandise projects
- Assisting in other areas of the department as necessary.

Required qualifications / industry specific skills**Education/Training**:

- Higher School Certificate or higher

**Knowledge/Skills**:

- Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)data entry experience
- AS400
- Strong attention to detail
- Approachable with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, with strong organisation and problem solving skills
- Strong evaluation and analytical skills

Other Specific requirements
- Full COVID-19 vaccination or medical contraindications certificate
- Satisfactory criminal record check
- If successful, you will be required to undertake role and department specific training within specified timeframes
