**THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, and working closely with the team, you will be an experienced graphic designer and leader, that is passionate about developing, mentoring and inspiring a proactive and drive team.

This role is responsible for championing the quality of the work coming from the design department, keeping work within brand guidelines, and driving a holistic view of how a creative idea is brought to life across many design mediums such as POS instore, online digital presence, social media and paid advertising.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the design team championing the quality of work, timeliness and delivery against brief requirements in a fast moving FMCG environment.
- Lead and manage the design process from concept to completion for a variety of projects marketing campaigns and activations across print and digital materials such product packaging, social media content, website content, merchandise, in-store artwork, branding materials.
- Develop creative concepts and design solutions that meet project objectives and align with the brand guidelines.
- Manage design team workflow ensuring multiple projects are briefed, deadlines are met and artwork is delivered on time.
- Provide art direction and guidance to junior designers and freelancers.

**ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who takes a true leadership and mentoring approach, that is ready to inspire and lead a team as well as get their hands dirty
- Leadership experience leading a design team
- A minimum of 5 years design experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Working knowledge and experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
- Experience in a fast moving commercial environment is highly desired
- Knowledge of gym and/or sport supplements will be a bonus - but not essential
