Tesla Vehicle Technician – Chatswood, New South Wales, Australia
Join Tesla as a Vehicle Technician and help uphold Tesla's exceptional Service standards by delivering an impeccable service experience to our customers.
This hands-on technical role supports Model S, Model X, Model 3, and other Tesla products as the workshop scales with product availability.
What You'll Do
Deliver excellent service results that meet or exceed goals across customers, people, operations, and financials.
Be customer focused and go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations of the service experience.
Model team excellence: contribute to a positive work environment, open communication, proactive problem solving, and team growth.
Support operational excellence as an integral part of the Service team and the customer experience.
Act in the best interest of Tesla, with a passion for our mission, our people, and our customers.
Develop technical acumen with knowledge of all Tesla products, service systems, processes, and procedures.
What You'll Bring
Educational experience: Qualified motor mechanic or Registered Vehicle Technician.
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Registered Vehicle Technician.
Knowledge of maintenance and repair methods, diagnostic testing, HVAC service, hydraulics, brakes, and electronic systems.
Experience using diagnostic scan tools and following diagnostics and operating scopes.
Hybrid experience is a bonus.
Valid driver's license and insurance required.
HVAC licensing is a bonus.
Good verbal English capabilities; ability to travel occasionally (interstate and international).
Self-starter with a team player attitude; able to thrive in a high-pressure environment; strategic, proactive, flexible, and open-minded.
Strong problem solving, analytical thinking, and customer-service mindset; advocate for customers and team.
