Emergency Nursing Leadership Opportunity
The University of Technology Sydney seeks a highly accomplished leader to fill the role of Associate Professor Emergency and Critical Care Nursing.
About the Role
This is a conjoint position that requires the successful candidate to allocate 50% of their time to academic research and 50% to healthcare innovation. The incumbent will be responsible for promoting excellence in critical care nursing, with a focus on developing and implementing research projects that address real-world challenges.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have a PhD in nursing or a related discipline, APHRA Registration as a nurse, and evidence of successful leadership in course design and delivery. Additionally, you should have significant experience in supervising higher degree research (HDR) students and mentoring research supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead research projects addressing critical care nursing challenges
Supervise HDR students and mentor research supervisors
Contribute to the development of academic programs in emergency and critical care nursing
