We are a relatively new Italian restaurant on the Central Coast, La Gioia. Our mission is to transport customers straight to the streets of Tuscany, Italy, serving traditional Italian dishes with a contemporary twist and delivering a unique and unforgettable dining experience. With that being said, we are looking for a new FOH waitstaff to join us in delivering exceptional food and quality service.

Job Responsibilities:
As a waitperson, your role will involve:

- Having a strong focus on customer service and building connections with guests and locals to promote repeat clientele
- Perform as a positive team member and communicate well to achieve great service
- Explain the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide suitable assistance when recommending beverages
- Maximise sales opportunities by upselling items
- Ensure accuracy whilst ordering and delivering food and beverage orders
- Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals
- Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy
- Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation

Required Qualifications:

- Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate or willingness to get one
- Minimum of 1 years experience in the hospitality industry as front of house
- Must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends
- Reliable transportation

Salary Information: Offering casual positions only.

Work Hours:
Our opening hours will be Monday-Saturday from 12pm onwards each day.

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
