**This opportunity**
As a Chapter Lead UX, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of UX design professionals. You will play a crucial role in driving the design and user experience strategy, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the successful delivery of UX initiatives. This position requires extensive experience in UX design, strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of user-centred design principles.
You will be accountable for designing and bringing to life TPG's vision for our digital experience. You will take ownership of key customer & commercial targets to ensure we meet our digital ambition and transformational objectives.
This role leads designers who work on multiple digital assets across the TPG Telecom brand portfolio:
- My Vodafone app
- Lebara Mobile App
**Responsibilities**

Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of UX designers, researchers, and other related roles within the UX chapter.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members, helping them grow their skills and achieve their professional goals.
- Foster a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Organise team rituals and practices to ensure we are constantly refining and improving our design ways of working.
- Act as an advocate for the voice of the customer by generating insights into user needs and behaviours.
UX Strategy and Design:
- Define and drive the overall UX strategy and vision for the organization, aligning it with business goals and user needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and define user experience goals for projects.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience.
- Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications, ensuring they adhere to best practices and industry standards.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and emerging technologies in UX design and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.
- Facilitate the design process and workshops by engaging relevant team members and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and involved.
- Collaborate with development teams and agile squads to ensure that all designs are technically feasible, desirable and viable.
Project Management and Delivery:
- Manage multiple UX projects simultaneously, from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
- Collaborate with project managers, product owners and cross-functional teams to establish project priorities, resource allocation, and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the design and development process.
- Conduct regular project reviews to evaluate outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement lessons learned in future projects.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including executives, product owners, and other relevant teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business objectives, user needs, and constraints, and translate them into effective UX strategies and designs.
- Communicate UX plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, providing regular updates and gathering feedback to drive continuous improvement.
**Knowledge and experience**
- Proven experience (7-10 years) in UX design, including user research, interaction design, and usability testing.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related discipline.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and managing high performing design teams.
- Proficient in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite.
