We're on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Hinterland Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.Sitting on the banks of the Nerang River, the Hinterland Hotel has been a local icon for years, serving locals and visitors who pass through Nerang.This isn't just a pub, it's a true all-rounder with a bistro, bar, gaming, functions, and motel accommodation.
Locals, travellers, and everyone in between drop in, which means no two days are the same.As Assistant Manager, you'll work side by side with the Venue Manager, making sure the crew is firing, the customers are happy, and every shift runs smoothly.A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:Get to know the locals so well they think you're part of the crewSupport the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibeLearn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legendsHandle hiccups before they turn into headachesBring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shiftAbout you:You've been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervisingYou've learned from great managers and now you're ready to step upYou've got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is awayYou've got a current RSA and RSG and RMLVas per state requirementsIf you're keen to learn, lead, and laugh while making this pub the best spot in town – we'd love to hear from you.The benefits are good too
