About the rolePutt Putt Mermaid Beach are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join our fun and energetic team.
The position on offer is permanent, working to a roster which will include nights and weekends.No two days are the same at Putt Putt.
The duties include:Opening and closing of the venueSelling Putt Putt admission and upsellingServing food and beverages, including alcoholProviding outstanding customer service at all timesAttending to customer queries via phone and/or emailCo-ordinating group and party bookingsGeneral cleaning of equipment and clubhouseManaging, co-ordinating and training employeesSupervising all staff and operations of eventsEnsure a "lead by example" approach is taken with all staffThe candidateThe successful candidate will have the following:Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a management or supervisory position, ideally within the tourism industry.Have a background in travel, tourism or sales & marketing— either through formal study or hands on experience.Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificationSolid customer service and sales experienceStrong team leadership and management experienceA positive, confident and outgoing personality to match our entertaining venueBe well presented, committed to the requirements of the role, reliable and organisedA team player, as well as the ability to work independentlyShows initiative and attention to detailCustomer engagement and focus - our customers visit us for a fun-loving experienceFlexible availability with the ability to work nights and weekendsTee-riffic communication skills
