As an APS4 Data Scientist, you will play a key role in delivering data-driven insights and solutions that support critical decision-making processes.
This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a passion for analytics and a desire to make a meaningful difference.Your Duties Will IncludeExtracting, cleansing, and preparing data from multiple sources, including data warehousesDeveloping and updating regular performance monitoring reportsSupporting statutory reporting requirements, including data analysis for public and internal reportingDesigning and utilising statistical and mathematical modelling techniques for predictive analysisCommunicating progress and outcomes to stakeholders through verbal and written updatesPreparing and reviewing technical tables, charts, and commentary for inclusion in key reportsSkills And Experience We Are Looking ForDemonstrated data analytics experience, ideally in a government or policy development contextProficiency in R or Python for data manipulation and analysisStrong SQL/SAS programming skillsExperience working collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal guidanceGeneral understanding of statistical modelling techniques and their applicationsExperience developing dashboards and visualisations for non-technical stakeholdersApplication ProcessIf you would like to apply for this opportunity, please click 'APPLY'.
