Job Title: Data Engineering Specialist
We are seeking a skilled
Data Engineering Specialist
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data streaming applications using Confluent Kafka or Apache Kafka.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Confluent Kafka or Apache Kafka, proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python, and experience with data serialization formats like Avro or Protobuf.
The successful candidate will also have familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture is essential for this role.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong experience with Confluent Kafka or Apache Kafka.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
Experience with data serialization formats like Avro or Protobuf.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with stream processing frameworks such as Apache Flink or Apache Spark Streaming.
Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 to 7 years of relevant experience in software development and data engineering.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
