Senior Release Manager Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Release Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating release activities across development and testing, ensuring quality and timely deployments across all environments.
Your Responsibilities:
Communicate the scope and purpose of releases, environment refreshes, release schedules, release status, and escalation of issues and risks.
Plan and facilitate release activities across development and testing, ensuring quality and timely deployments across all environments.
Assist in managing interdependencies to ensure milestone adherence, and ensure the integrity of releases.
Maintain consistency of releases across sandbox environments, testing and external test environments.
Define and manage technical change control processes for release readiness criteria.
Your Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in planning, scheduling, testing, deploying, and controlling software releases.
Experience working in large, critical infrastructure projects.
Expertise in Release Management across a range of environments from legacy on-prem environments through to contemporary container-based Cloud workloads.
Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle, continuous delivery/continuous integration (CI/CD) principals.
Strong stakeholder management, collaboration and leadership qualities.
