**About the Role**
Looking for someone to join the team as an AML Investigations Analyst based in Brisbane or Melbourne. This role is to assist in mitigating Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) risks by conducting assessments and investigations across alerts generated by BOQ's detection and monitoring systems.

This involves identifying any unusual patterns or behaviors and supporting Suspicious Matter Reporting (SMR) for the BOQ Group across retail, institutional banking, and finance products. The role ensures compliance with AML/CTF regulatory obligations and BOQ Group policies, including the Financial Crime Strategy of the Group.

Joining a high-performing team responsible for investigating transaction monitoring cases, you will provide structured analysis and clearly articulated evaluations to support decision-making and timely, comprehensive intelligence reporting to AUSTRAC.

You will be well versed in SMR timeframes and compliance requirements, banking codes of practice, and other relevant legislation, including the Privacy Act and Criminal Code.
