**Exciting Contractor Private Practice Dietitian Position in Sydney. New Graduates Welcome**

We are looking for a motivated and passionate dietitian to join our team.

The position would best suit a dietitian that is looking to increase their current caseload and ideally a dietitian who is enthusiastic, has excellent organisational skills and a passion for helping individual achieve their health goals. This role will suit someone who enjoys engaging with patients one on one, has an interest in chronic disease and obesity management, a dietitian who has the ability to work on their own, and a passion for delivering one on one client nutrition and dietetic education, counselling and plans. This position involves regularly engaging with doctors within our clinics. We are looking for a passionate, motivated, organised and friendly dietitian who enjoys working with people to help them achieve their health goals.

**Hours**:1 day per week at Engadine clinic with the potential to increase hours + 1 day per month at Miranda clinic + 1 day per fortnight at Parramatta clinic + home visits across Sydney (travel paid),

**Main Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Conducting dietary assessments on patients, and providing patients with nutritional education and advice
- Using Best Practice software to keep patient notes, as well as writing patient GP reports
- Consultations will involve patients with Medicare care plan referrals, DVA referrals and private clients.
- Liaising with the Doctors and other allied health professionals.
- In the future, potential patient home visit opportunities may also arise
- Home Visit consultations are also required across Sydney. Travel will be paid for most patients.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Masters or Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Member of DAA.
- Full APD status.
- A current police check (or willingness to obtain)
- Medicare Registration
- Professional indemnity insurance and ABN (or willingness to obtain)
- Current driver licence.
- Previous private practice experience highly regarded however new graduates are also welcome to apply
- A passion for weight management, diabetes and CVD.
- A passion for private practice and ability to assist with building the clinics patient numbers and thus assisting to increase their own hours.
- Enthusiasm, passion and an ability to motivate others.
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and empathetically to a diverse group of patients with differing backgrounds, lifestyles, incomes and education levels.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract, Graduate

Pay: $44.00 - $66.00 per hour

- Morning shift

- Engadine, NSW 2233: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
