At League of Geeks, we own development of our titles all the way from pitch to publish, ensuring the experience we deliver our players is as true to our initial vision as possible. We're currently looking for a Publishing Assistant to join our experienced team in delivering upon the ambitious goals for the commercial and cultural success of our videogames.

As Publishing Assistant you will join our Production Department, and will be responsible for assisting the publishing producer in coordinating the submission, publishing pipeline, and successful release of our titles. With your natural energy and charismatic drive, you will work alongside our publishing team and PR partners on major marketing and community initiatives where necessary, and coordinate our inclusion in international videogames events.

**Requirements**:

- Professional experience in the creative and/or marketing industries.
- Thorough understanding and/or knowledge of the videogames market/industry.
- Driven, resourceful, innovative, forward-thinking and committed to execution.
- Ability to assist in driving the company's media strategy and execute PR campaigns.
- Organisational effectiveness to manage deadlines and needs across multiple projects and initiatives.
- Ability to work independently; managing time, task lists and workflow with ease, whilst seeking guidance and support when necessary.
- Detail sensitivity, a proven aesthetic eye and strong design sensibilities.
- Excellent communication, creative collaboration and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to working in a professional, inclusive and supportive environment.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Publishing Assistant here at League of Geeks, you will own the coordination both the publishing and marketing goals of our two games.
- Assist the publishing team in executing upon marketing, PR and release plans.
- Provide administrational support and ad-hoc assistance to the publishing team as required.
- Research and coordinate applicable submission, certification and publishing information across PC and console for project teams.
- Work alongside our international PR partners on major marketing initiatives.
- Pursue, create and manage platform promotions, features, events and sales for all LoG titles.
- Support the community management team with moderation and content creation, when necessary.
- Project manage various production and publishing initiatives as they arise.
- Manage trade show and festival submission and production.
- Provide customer service and support, where necessary.
- Foster close collaboration and communication between the development and publishing team to ensure the quality of our products and our public image.

**Important Stuff**:

- Base remuneration on offer (excluding benefits such as superannuation) is between $59,000k - $78,400k p.a AUD, pro-rata, as per the specifics of the contract term. Base remuneration is dependent on experience and expertise of the applicant.
- We've temporarily transitioned to a hybrid working model. We plan on returning to our Melbourne studio in the next 12 months.
- This role can be held remotely.
