**Duties and responsibilities we'll trust you with**:

- Supporting the delivery of functions and events that promote State Library facilities and services to the community and encourages through collaboration, a streamlined service to all clients while meeting State Library's service commitments.
- Participation in a high performing team to deliver a professional and responsive client experience which meets key objectives of the Venue Management and Retail branch and organisational priorities.
- Supporting the delivery of functions and events in accordance with State Library venue hire procedures through the set up and pack down of meeting room furniture, basic audio visual systems, stationery and food/beverage stations. This includes the coordination of event staff including contractors, venue technicians and security suppliers.
- Conducting regular venue maintenance, upkeep and presentatin of State Library venues. This includes end of event, security and incident reporting as well as liaising with State Library Facilities and Technical Production Teams to report onsit issues for action.
- Acting as client liaison on event day to meet and greet external event managers, artists and promoters as well as supporting the coordination of associated event staff including food and beverage contrators, venue technicians, security suppliers and external deliveries.
