We are looking for a Venue Manager to take ownership of both our venues in Brisbane; our luxury flagship in Newstead which offers an innovative all-day brunch and dining menu, all brought together under one roof with on-site coffee roasting, private dining, functions and a curated retail shop, and our trendy espresso bar located in Adelaide St. in the CBD.

**The Role**

The Venue Manager will oversee responsibility of the venues, working within a supportive and systematic structure to deliver premium quality product, service and experience. Working under a progressive but consistent menu framework, and responsible for managing multiple teams, the right person will be experienced and passionate with a strong hospitality management background with the ability to lead a team to execute the ultimate customer experience.

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Develop a positive team culture, consistent with the Industry Beans brand values
- Drive a market leading service experience and establishing a standard that all team members follow
- Maintain quality, standards, safety and presentation of both sites, including restaurant, kitchen, office, training, events and roastery areas.
- Evolve the beverage menu and range, including coffee, wine, cocktails, beer, alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks
- Work closely with the Head Chef, Restaurant Manager, Café Manager and Function Co-ordinator in identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve the customer experience
- Oversee all venue administration including ordering, rostering, timesheet approval and stocktake

**You'll be perfect for this role if you have**:

- A passion for specialty coffee and hospitality
- At least three years' experience in a similar management role
- Advanced hospitality skills (service, waiting, hosting, functions, training etc.)
- The ability to influence, manage and achieve buy-in from your team
- A passion for creating the ultimate customer experience
- Advanced interpersonal, communication, customer service and leadership skills
- A strong work ethic with ability to meet and surpass KPIs
- Strong financial acumen with a good understanding of P+Ls
- Both an ability and enthusiasm to manage systems and software
- RSA (required)
- A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable)
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate (desirable)
