Some flexibility in work location may be required through negotiation.About the RoleWorking as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Occupational Therapist is responsible for the provision of occupational therapy services to a community-based adult caseload with Acquired Brain Injury.Duties include:Providing occupational therapy services and evaluating best practice within a multidisciplinary team.Maintaining evidence based and contemporary practice.Implementing innovation to problem solve the needs of people living with brain injury.The incumbent also assists the Senior Occupational Therapist by:Contributing to the development of occupational therapy services within BISA as a member of the occupational therapy team.Pursuing evidence-based practice and innovating in service delivery when required.Contributing to the skill development of occupational therapy students.Qualifications / Registrations:Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.Professional Registration with AHPRA.Highly developed interpersonal skills incorporating excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills.Current (within the last 3 years) Disability Worker Check and DCSI Child related employment screening/Working with Children check.NDIS knowledge / experience.Experience in Neurological Occupational Therapy assessment and service delivery with Adults with ABI.Core Competencies:DemonstratedClinical practice and case load management.Understanding of practice knowledge and areas for growth/development.To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter to Monica.
