About the position We have an exciting permanent full-time position available for an experienced Administration Officer who, working as part of the administration team, will provide administrative support at our Burnie site.
As an Administrative Officer, you'll play a vital role as part of the team that provides administrative operational support, with a special focus on production and maintenance.
Your key duties will include accurate data entry, purchasing processes, and generating reports for site management.
You'll also have the opportunity to showcase your organisational skills by handling a wide variety of administrative tasks.
You'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth administrative functioning across our site.We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working as part of a team, possesses exceptional attention to detail and has a knack for juggling multiple responsibilities.
Proficiency in data entry, purchasing systems, and report generation will be crucial for success in this role.
Your primary responsibilities Working as part of a team to provide effective, efficient, timely and accurate administrative servicesFront-line representative, greeting visitors in a warm and professional mannerManaging phone calls, emails and correspondence from internal and external stakeholdersEnsuring the timely and accurate creation and maintenance of records and dataAssisting with site purchasing as well as managing the procurement of office suppliesMaintaining the administrative requirements of the site vehicle fleetThe management of ingoing and outgoing mail in a prompt and accurate mannerPreparing and formatting documents and reports as requiredCoordinating meetings, medical bookings and other relevant appointments Required qualifications and experience Previous experience working in an administrative team in an administration role in an industrial services setting is essentialExcellent communication skills to effectively address inquiries and provide accurate informationAn attentive, friendly and professional demeanour at all timesKnowledge of purchasing systems is highly advantageousStrong problem-solving skillsOrganisation, prioritisation, and time management skillsProven high attention to detail and accuracy in data entryExperience with the Microsoft Office 365 suite is crucial for success in this role In return, we offer A competitive hourly rateProfessional growth opportunities - we believe in investing in our employee's developmentSupportive work environment - we foster a collaborative and inclusive environment About Us Join our team and be part of a diversified group with over 30 years of experience leading the way in the forestry, agricultural, and permaculture industries.
