About The Opportunity

We have a vacancy for an experienced Administrative Professional to work in Burnie.

As an Administrative Professional, you will play a vital role in providing operational support with a focus on production and maintenance. Your key duties will include accurate data entry, purchasing processes, and generating reports for site management.

You will be responsible for working as part of a team to provide effective, efficient, timely and accurate administrative services. This includes managing phone calls, emails and correspondence from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the timely and accurate creation and maintenance of records and data, and assisting with site purchasing and procurement of office supplies.

Your organisational skills will be showcased by handling a wide variety of administrative tasks, including maintaining the administrative requirements of the site vehicle fleet, preparing and formatting documents and reports, and coordinating meetings and appointments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of a team to provide effective, efficient, timely and accurate administrative services;
  • Front-line representative, greeting visitors in a warm and professional manner;
  • Manage phone calls, emails and correspondence from internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ensure the timely and accurate creation and maintenance of records and data;
  • Assist with site purchasing and manage the procurement of office supplies;
  • Maintain the administrative requirements of the site vehicle fleet;
  • Manage ingoing and outgoing mail in a prompt and accurate manner;
  • Prepare and format documents and reports as required; and,
  • Coordinate meetings, medical bookings and other relevant appointments.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in an administrative team in an administration role is essential;
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively address inquiries and provide accurate information;
  • An attentive, friendly and professional demeanour at all times;
  • Knowledge of purchasing systems is highly advantageous;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills;
  • Proven high attention to detail and accuracy in data entry;
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office 365 suite is crucial for success in this role.
