We're looking for a part-time Childcare Support Educator to work closely with the Inclusion Support Services (SIP) program to support the inclusion of children with additional needs in our long day care centre.

The role will be for 13 hours each week spread over Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. It focuses on providing a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment, ensuring all children can participate fully in the program.

You do not need to have qualifications on Early Childhood Education.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the Support Educator, you will:

- Provide targeted support for children with additional needs following individual inclusion support plans.
- Work collaboratively with lead educators and inclusion professionals to implement strategies that support participation and learning.
- Encourage and facilitate positive interactions between all children to foster inclusive play and social development.
- Modify activities and routines as needed to meet the diverse needs of children.
- Observe and document children's progress and communicate insights to educators and families.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that supports developmental outcomes.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings, training, and planning sessions that relate to these children.
- Support transitions and routines calmly and responsively.

KiDZSPOT operates three (3) different centres in Glendenning and Erskine Park. Our Centres have about 30 places each so we can offer our staff and families a much more personalised experience. **ABOUT YOU**
- Experience working with children with additional needs or in an inclusive education setting
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training
