**The Business**
Genus Infrastructure are specialists in delivering end to end innovative solutions in multiple sectors across Australia. Specialising in Transmission, Distribution, Substation, Communications & Renewable Energy; as a subsidiary of the GenusPlus Group (ASX: GNP).

**The Role**
Genus are seeking an experienced SHEQ Advisor to assist with various project works for an immediate start. Reporting directly to the
**Division Manager**, the SHEQ Advisor will be responsible for:

- Leading a _Think Safe. Work Safe. Home Safe_
- Conducting site inspections & audits on internal crews & subcontractors.
- Development and ongoing review of SWMS, SHE Management Plan & Risk Register reviews against updated legislation/incident findings/client feedback.
- Attend site prestart & help deliver toolbox presentations & promotion of safety, health, environmental & quality information.
- Assisting in the development and promotion of risk assessments Genus Safety Non-Negotiables (critical risks).
- Assisting in the delivery of SHEQ improvement programs & communications.
- Leading incident investigations.
- Collecting, analysing, managing and reporting on SHEQ data (MYOSH database).

**Essential Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a SHEQ Advisor role or similar.
- Cert IV WHS/OHS or higher.
- OHS Construction Induction Card.
- Current QLD "C" Class Drivers Licence.
- Knowledge of WHS Act, relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- High level of organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Good judgement and decision making.
- High level IT proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills, customer relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Experience with diary and travel management.

**Desirable Skills / Experience**:

- ICAM investigation training
- Cert IV Training and Assessment
- First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Drug & Alcohol testing qualifications
- Experience in Transmission Lines and Substations
- FMG/BHP/RIO Inducted
