Retail State Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and driven Retail State Manager (based in Brisbane) to oversee our store teams in Queensland.

Reporting to the Head of Retail, this dynamic and fast paced role will be responsible for multi-site management of our retail store and concession network and will require dedication and determination to achieve success. You will need to roll up your sleeves and be hands on across all aspects of our business.

As a State Manager you are innately results driven and always strive to get the best results from your team on a daily basis. You have a sound background in people management and have a proven track record of developing your teams skills set. A strong retail management background including multi-site management is a must, in conjunction with an ability to affect positive change and drive results with your store teams.

**THE ROLE**:

- Multi-site management of locations across Queensland
- Driving sales culture throughout our Concept and Concession teams
- Working alongside the VM team in order to implement and maintain VM Guidelines
- Implementing and maintaining our high customer service standards across all sites
- Effectively managing stock across all stores in order to maximise sales opportunities
- People management and proactively developing store teams
- Oversee the recruitment for the State
- Communicating and implementing business initiatives from Head Office across all stores
- Following up on administration from Head Office and In Stores
- Building strong relationships with your store teams and internal/external stakeholders

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:

- Previous experience managing multiple sites with a fashion apparel retailer
- Demonstrated experience managing teams from the front and remotely
- Previous experience in Myer and/or David jones is preferred but not essential
- Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
- An eye for styling and detail to up hold our high Visual Merchandising standards
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- The ability to effectively prepare and analyse rosters costed to achieve targets
- Be strategic with stock management to ensure opportunities are maximised within the states
- Strong interpersonal skills to lead and manage our store teams
- Strong problem solving skills
- Highly motivated and self-driven
