This leading national private owned business continues to grow and is now seeking another **_Rehabilitation Consultant_** to join their high performing team. **The Role**
- Engaging all relevant parties in the development and implementation of an individual and tailored rehabilitation plan to address medical, vocational and social needs
- Actively monitoring the rehabilitation plan and regularly engage with all parties to address barriers as they arise and ensure the goals are achieved
- Work with the Veteran Employment Consultant to source work placements/experience/trials, volunteering roles and/or employment opportunities, investigate retraining and recognised prior learning options
- Be an expert on veteran related services that can be offered through DVA SPECIFIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY TASKS (if qualified)
- Promptly undertake Activities of Daily Living, Workplace and Ergonomic Assessments as referred by the Department of Veteran's Affairs
- Attendance and participation in OT Forums.

**Background**
To be successful in the rehabilitation consultant role you will have experience supporting individuals with complex injuries/needs, including but not limited to mental health conditions. Suitable qualifications include; Social Workers, Rehab Counsellors, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist.

**You will also need**:

- Minimum Affiliate membership with ASORC/RCAA or Full membership with AHPRA/AASW
- Demonstrated integrity and accountability in a professional environment
- Respect for the individual
- Ability to motivate and empower through your role
- Passion for helping people
- Current drivers license

- Mental Health First Aid Trained
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Current Police Check
