Charters Towers State High School is looking for a friendly, energetic, and experienced Canteen Assistant to help keep our school canteen running like clockwork. You'll play a key part in delivering a much-loved service to our students in a fun, fast-paced environment.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.79FTE), 60 hours per fortnight from 7:00am to 2:30pm. This includes one hour of Accumulated Days Off per day to support continued salary payments during school holidays.

Step Into Your Next Chapter
Plan the daily operation of the school canteen and the preparation of food and counter services.
Identify stock requirements and place orders with appropriate vendors on a regular basis
Participate in regular stocktake, recording and reporting processes
Maintain accurate and appropriate records for the canteen and associated catering operations including filing ofordering, receipt and associated documentation
Liaise with suppliers to maximise earning potential for the school.
