**Position Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- **NDIS Compliance Management**: Oversee and manage compliance with the NDIS framework, including the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards, and ensure alignment with relevant legislation and industry standards.
- **Policy and Procedure Development**: Develop, implement, and review internal compliance policies and procedures to meet NDIS requirements across various services and departments.
- **Risk Management and Auditing**: Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with NDIS standards, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate compliance gaps.
- **Training and Support**: Provide training and support to staff, ensuring they are well-versed in NDIS compliance obligations and responsibilities.
- **Reporting and Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, report findings to senior management, and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared for audits or inspections.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the organization's operations are in line with NDIS best practices and regulatory changes.
- **Incident and Complaint Management**: Oversee incident and complaint management processes, ensuring all incidents are reported, managed, and resolved in compliance with NDIS requirements.
**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: A minimum of [2] years of experience in compliance, with a strong focus on NDIS compliance, either in a service provider or regulatory role.
- **In-depth Knowledge**: Comprehensive understanding of the NDIS framework, including the NDIS Practice Standards, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines, and other relevant legislation (e.g., NDIS Act, safeguarding frameworks).
- **Skills**: Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to explain complex regulatory concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- **Problem-Solving**: Proven ability to identify compliance issues, assess risks, and implement effective solutions.
- **Team Collaboration**: Experience working with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across organizational functions.
- **Ethical Standards**: A commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with the best interests of NDIS participants.
- **Microsoft Excel**: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with data management, reporting, and analysis.
