We're seeking a skilled professional to join our dynamic Sydney team, providing valuable insights on land use and development potential.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an urban planner to shape the future of Sydney's urban landscape by offering expert advice on:
- Land use and development capability;
- Due diligence assessments and master planning;
- The approval process and policy frameworks.
Your Key Responsibilities
As an urban planning expert, you'll:
- Draft submissions and proposals for government and private clients;
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
- Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and business planning;
- Collaborate with other professionals on multi-disciplinary projects;
- Stay up-to-date with changes to building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal issues.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Regional and Urban/Town Planning or a related discipline;
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in statutory or strategic planning, preferably gained in a consultancy or local government environment.
