We currently have an exciting position available for a Technical Support Consultant to join our Sydney team on a full-time basis. As a Tech Support Consultant, you will have excellent attention and accuracy with details, strong individual initiative, organizing skills and commitment to quality. You will be accountable for end-to-end responsibility of your area of focus - collaborating and working closely with our off-shore support team and our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Proactively respond to client queries and resolve incidents related to data loads or system functionality.
- Provide support to MI Portal clients by working on business-as-usual data load activities (daily, weekly, monthly) ah-hoc data load/extracts as per requirements, carried out data quality & data integrity check to meet the client's expectation.
- Effectively working on incoming client support requests & internal system/data issues based on agreed SLA.
- Investigate issues related to data mapping/data conversion.
- Maintain and support MI Portal BI reports for various MI clients.
- Design/Develop/implement/maintain the new and existing store procedures used in ETL process. Participate in implementation of process & framework components that would streamline and automate the manual day to day support activities.

**Key requirements**:

- At least 1-3 years of working experiences as database developer, database support engineer/analyst or production support engineer
- Experiences of working in life sciences industry is an advantage
- Technical proficiency in MS SQL database is required
- In-depth T-SQL Skills & SSIS, SSRS, performance tuning of SQL, Store procedure & function is required
- Understanding of data ware housing model (star / snowflake schema) is required
- Ability to multitask and strong trouble shooting skills, reverse engineering skills to identify the root cause of issues
- Excellent communication skills
