**Your new role**

AustralianSuper is on an exciting transformation journey to establish core data foundations to help the Fund achieve its 2030 strategy. We are continuously evolving, elevating, and building out our Data capabilities to benefit Members. We are looking for talented data professionals to join our growing Fund as we embark on a strategic program of data transformation across all our data assets. You will be able to make a positive contribution on behalf of 3 million members and build some personal career highlights while benefiting for our flexible working practices and policies.

Reporting to the Head of Data Services, this role has a broad remit across data governance, data modelling, capabilities & processes, business ownership of tools, and change management. This role will establish & implement frameworks and capabilities to govern and manage data across all data domains in the Fund.

This will include.
- Developing a Fund-wide roadmap for the roll out of the data governance framework and tools
- Establishing and maintain a demand management process for Data Services
- Working with data domain leads in Data Services and help develop & implement plans to streamline dataflows, eliminate silos & redundancy by creating Foundational Data Assets on the Fund Data Platform, and rationalising the Fund's data estate in the medium-long term
- Leading the rollout of the Fund-wide data governance framework, key policies, and standards with a core focus on improving data quality, protection of sensitive data and ensuring appropriate use of data, inc. a comprehensive change management plan
- Leading the establishment & ongoing maintenance of data governance and data management capabilities and ensure data is managed in a consistent manner
- Establishing Fund-wide incident & risk management processes to proactively identify, assess & monitor data risk, integrity & quality; implement & embed strong controls, and ensure controls are tested regularly to ensure they meet all obligations Establishing a new practice and define standards and guidelines for enterprise data modelling; provide resources and govern data modelling projects and BAU initiatives

**What you'll need**
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering enterprise-wide data governance and data management initiatives in a senior leadership capacity in large & complex organisations
- Experience in the wealth management industry and with Investments data, in addition to member and other data
- Experience rolling out large scale data related change at an enterprise level
- Deep understanding of data management concepts and associated business processes and tools, specifically Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Modelling, Metadata Management, Data Quality
- Proven experience establishing and operating processes & tools for Master Data Management, Data Governance, Reconciliations and Data Quality
- Experience/knowledge of data governance frameworks like DCAM
- Experience leading Data Modelling initiatives and teams, and proficient in modelling methodologies e.g. Inmon, Kimball or Data Value 2.0
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse complex information to identify the key issue/action and drive resolution.
- Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change The ability to organise people, provide clear directions and to get things done
