Overview
Susquehanna is seeking a
Technical Team Lead
to join our APAC exchange Connectivity team. In this role, you will develop and enhance low latency and high-frequency exchange connectivity applications by designing, implementing, and delivering complex software systems that meet business needs. You will manage a team of highly technical software engineers and lead projects from inception to deployment.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex applications that meet demanding performance and scalability goals in a trading environment.

We integrate sophisticated coding techniques with innovative engineering ideas to design and optimize systems capable of processing massive data volumes with high performance and stability. You will play a key role in integrating team efforts with trading processes, collaborating closely with quants and traders to deliver impactful trading tools and services.
Collaboration:
You will work closely with our Trading, Quantitative Research, Infrastructure, and Strategy Development teams to develop and manage scalable, high-performance systems supporting trading in the region.
What we're looking for:
A bachelor's degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline
At least five years of experience as a technology team lead
At least three years of experience leading teams in the financial markets industry, managing multiple concurrent projects from analysis to production
Experience with exchange connectivity technology
Ten or more years of experience designing and developing applications using object-oriented programming in C++ on Linux, including knowledge of design, profiling, performance tuning, OO, generic programming, STL, Boost, sockets, multi-threading, and IPC
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a thorough understanding of full software development lifecycle and performance optimization/latency reduction methodologies
Excellent collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills
Knowledge of financial products, exchange connectivity, and market data
