NSW Government organisation seeking a Procurement Officer.

**Your new role**

The Procurement Officer provides procurement and contract management expertise and assists stakeholders to plan, source, and manage procurement arrangements to effectively meet organisational and business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

- Identify sources for goods, services, and minor equipment.
- Validate stakeholder needs and assess market risks for informed procurement planning.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, WHS, and policy requirements.
- Research trends, analyse markets, and evaluate supplier performance.
- Assist in end-to-end tender processes, including documentation preparation, evaluation, and feedback to suppliers.
- Contribute to developing procurement policies and monitoring compliance.
- Maintain and update procurement records to meet organisational compliance requirements

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience with RFQ/RFT processes
- Experience preparing procurement documentation
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of NSW Government guidelines would be advantageous

**What you'll get in return**
