About the Position

As a Support Worker, you will be required to provide high-quality services to the people we support in their own home, disability accommodation (SIL) and in the community.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

- Assist to build independent living skills
- Assist clients with access to community and recreation facilities
- Provide personal administration support, such as banking and shopping
- Provide personal care assistance including showering and dressing
- Aid with housework and other areas of daily living including preparation of meals
- Support clients to meet medical care needs

You also need to be prepared to use your own vehicle for travel and community access.

Skills and Experience
- Prior experience working in care support services or a similar environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Individual Support or related field
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve in a changeable environment
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

Requirements
- Evidence of Australian work rights
- Valid Working with Children/Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening Check)
- Current valid drivers license

Pay: $32.88 - $84.34 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 38 per week
