Opportunity to work for a Global Freight Forwarder located in Alexandria. The company is a well-established business and due to continued growth they are currently seeking and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team. The role involves processing local and international accounts and the ideal applicant
**MUST have previous experience in this area within a Freight Forwarding capacity.**

**Duties and responsibilities involve**:

- Coding and data entry of invoices
- Processing payments
- Preparation of international statements
- Liaising with clients/agents
- Assisting in other accounting functions when required
- Experience and/or tertiary education in Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Working with International accounts within Freight Forwarding
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Experience with EDI Cargowise highly desired
- Attention to detail with excellent numerical skills
- Accurate data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills
