**The Business**
Genus Fleet Management Services forms part of the GenusPlus Group, a rapidly growing ASX listed company. The Genus Fleet Services' workshop is based in Kenwick and is supported by many smaller depots around the state as well as nationwide.

**The Role**
Genus is seeking a Vehicle Body Builder with fabrication/welding experience to join our Fleet Management Service team in Kenwick, WA. Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager the **Vehicle Body Builder **will be responsible for building, modifying and undertaking repairs to a range of vehicles and components. Duties include:

- Interpreting drawings, specifications and engineering plans.
- Fabricating sections and components from sheet metal and pipes.
- Welding, screwing, hard facing, riveting and bolting components together to form finished products.
- Cutting, shaping and grinding sheet metal and plastic to create panels.
- Attaching axles, suspension assemblies, steering columns and brakes.
- Carrying out alterations to chassis in accordance with engineering specifications.
- Fitting mechanical components such as winches, cranes and hoists.

**Essential Skills / Qualifications & Experience**
- Relevant Australian recognised Trade Certificate.
- Previous vehicle body building/fabricating experience essential.
- Valid Australian Drivers License - "HR" Class.
- Strong ability to adapting to different, environments, and workloads.
- Demonstrates a high level of safety and work ethic.
- Efficient time management.
- Have sufficient and appropriate tools to perform the role.
- Punctual and reliable.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Hydraulics experience highly desirable.
- Experience with directional drilling and excavating equipment highly desirable.
- Forklift, Elevated Work Platform, Working at Heights and Crane Tickets.
