**The role**

The Citi Consumer Bank (CCB) Operational Risk and Control Manager role assists the business to deliver the banks operational risk framework and maintain a strong control focus across the Cards and Consumer Lending Team.

**Day to day you will**:
In contributing to the overall governance of risk and control reporting for one or more of the Retail Bank Teams, you will be responsible for continuously enhancing the control environment for the Cards and Consumer Lending Team and will:

- Ensure adherence to the Operational Risk Framework
- Identify risk, analysing data and reporting on findings
- Complete process reviews to ensure business unit compliance to policies, procedures and regulatory obligations
- Manage business partners relationships through effective communication
- Manage production and evaluation of control reporting to tracks the effectiveness of the control governance frameworks across Retail Bank

**What you'll bring**:
You can demonstrate the following:

- Tertiary qualified with a Degree in Business and a preference for post graduate qualifications
- Experience in a similar role, or in an internal audit/first line risk background gained in consumer banking
- Strong understanding of operational risk, process and controls concepts, including risk identification, monitoring frameworks and methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management underpinned by first class written and verbal communication skills
- Sound background in retail banking, experience in dealing with auditors or regulators and an understanding of regulatory obligations surrounding consumer banking products
- Be adaptable to change and enjoy working in a challenging environment
- High attention to detail and quality with excellent time management skills
- Sound analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
