Inclusion at Deloitte What we do We provide specialist skills in networking, security, and cloud consulting to a variety of clients and across industry verticals.
We work closely with our DevOps and platform engineers , providing next-gen cloud and enterprise networking and security solutions.
We use automation (often code written in-house) to solve complex network tasks and accelerating our delivering and assurance.
We help clients navigate and deliver next-gen networking topics such as Software-Defined-x, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), NetDevOps, CI/CD, and Cloud Networking.
Our typical engagements include anything within the spectrum of technology strategy; network assessments (gap and maturity); remediation activities; migrations (e.g. DC consolidation, or to cloud); technology sourcing; large-scale cloud delivery / network transformational programs (options analysis, design, build, test, integrate, migrate etc).

Our Cloud Security and Network Engineering team is positioned at the forefront of technology and the department is fuelled by technologists passionate about the industry.
We are proponents of IaC, NetDevOps, Cloud & Automation technologies, driving innovative and world-leading solutions that underpin exceptional business outcomes.
Required skills/experience A widely skilled engineer focused on Networking and Network Security with 2–3 years of hands-on delivery.
Significant experience across networking domains (routing, switching, load balancing, firewalling and wireless).
Demonstrated experience in network delivery work in one or more of the following areas: Assessments, Design, Architecture, Migrations & Transformations.
Demonstrated hands-on experience across the full delivery lifecycle: HLD, LLD, migration and rollback plans, test plans, runbooks, as-builts and operational handover.
Certifications that signal your capability.
CCNA is mandatory.
Nice to have AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Azure Network Engineer Associate.
Preferred CCNP Enterprise and vendor SASE or SSE certifications.
Ability to consult to clients on industry best practices & emerging trends/technologies within the Networking & Cloud domains, as well as discovering/articulating client pain points and proposing technological and/or process solutions to these challenges.
Some familiarity and ideally experience with NetDevOps (scripting/coding, Git, CI, IaC, APIs etc) and its value to a business.
You are strategic, resilient, engaging with people, a natural self-starter, with mature problem-solving skills.
You have strong communication, documentation & presentation skills with a focus on quality.
You are confident in the role of being a trusted advisor, with one/two nominated areas for which you are an SME and are passionate about, in addition to many secondary domains that you can provide strategic consulting advice across.
