Electrical Design Engineer (HV Systems)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in the design of high voltage substations and reticulation networks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting professional engineering works, developing single line diagrams, and creating technical specifications for electrical equipment.
Key tasks include:
Designing HV substations and HV reticulation networks
Planning and conducting engineering works
Developing single line diagrams and protection diagrams
Creating technical specifications for electrical equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a university degree in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in HV substation and distribution network design.
Additionally, you should be familiar with Australian and international standards and codes, including IEC 62271 and AS 60076. Knowledge of cable sizing software and HV modeling software is also desirable.
