**About Role**

Ramsay Surgical Centre Miranda is a dedicated day procedure centre located centrally in the Sutherland Shire. Located in Miranda, the Ramsay Surgical Centre boasts two operating theatres with state-of-the-art medical equipment and two specialised treatment rooms.

Our customer focused administration team are responsible for ensuring the seamless patient health journey. The team are here to effectively support all clinical and non-clinical areas of the hospital. As a first point of contact for our patients and their families, you will strive to deliver an exceptional customer service experience for all.

**_ Your responsibilities will include:_**
- Admission and discharge processes to ensure appropriate bed management and utilisation
- Managing incoming and outgoing calls to the centre
- Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients, visitors and other staff and departments
- Work alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients
- Compilation and management of patient admission papers, clinical notes and specific paperwork's

**About You**

**_ To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:_**
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus
- Intermediate-advanced skills utilising the Microsoft office suite with ability to maintain data entry accuracy.
- High level time management and organisational skills
- Certificate in Medical terminology highly regarded
- A professional and personable disposition
- Ability to work within a team environment and multitask
- Willingness to learn and the ability to grasp concepts with ease
- Previous experience in a hospital administration position or other medical secretary position desired but not essential
- Previous experience using Patient Information Systems (i.e. Meditech)
- Previous experience using hospital mainframe systems (Desirable)

**Remuneration**

**On offer is an hourly base salary of** $26.68 - $33.13 **+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

**Requirements**:

- _Must _provide a_ _**National Police Check** conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases.
