**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of heavy-duty plant and machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and trucks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems, identifying and addressing root causes.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
- Install, replace, and modify components as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Desirable attributes, skills and experience**
- Experience in a field service role in the Transport Industry.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Training in Computer Diagnostic equipment.
- Experience in a broad range of road transport equipment.
- Hydraulic and Electrical knowledge.

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Overtime
