Component Fitter, Mechanical Trade Qualification (HD Fitter, Plant Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter)

We are currently working with a small mechanical mining machinery company that specialises in rebuilding and servicing heavy-duty machinery on site and in their Wangara-based workshop. Currently seeking a Component Fitter

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Component Rebuild Supervisor in the workshop, you'll work closely with a small team assisting with rebuilds and major component changeout projects, as well as stripping, and completing reports on findings and parts from company documents.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Mechanical Trade Qualification (HD Fitter, Plant Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter) is essential - Australian recognised
- Minimum of two years' experience working as a Component Fitter
- Valid Australian driving licence
- Able to pass a Pre-employment Medical
- Full Australian working rights - Must be able to hold a visa independently/
- Ability to read and understand service manuals, schematics, and disassembly / assembly of components
- Ideally, demonstrating experience working on Sandvik, Cat, Dana & Kessler equipment
- Able to work unsupervised and have good time management skills and meet scheduled deadlines
- Highly motivated, independent and technically minded individual
