In this role, you'll provide specialist advice, manage key broker and insurer relationships, and support the Head of Enterprise Risk in delivering strategic objectives.Key responsibilities include:Designing and implementing Transgrid's insurance management planLeading annual renewals and securing project-specific policies for major construction projectsAdvising on insurance and contractual terms, risk transfer, and complianceManaging claims and providing guidance following insurable lossesPreparing reports for executives and the BoardDelivering insurance training across the organisationThis role blends technical expertise, analytical skills, and strategic thinking, offering the opportunity to make a direct impact on Australia's clean energy future.About YouYou're a strategic and collaborative insurance professional with:Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry experience3+ years managing corporate insurance programs, ideally in energy or infrastructureStrong skills in broker/insurer management, policy review, and claims handlingExperience negotiating insurance clauses in commercial contractsExcellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skillsProfessionalism, resilience, and a strong work ethicAt Transgrid, we live by our values of Safety, Achievement, Integrity, and Service.
