About The Role
Sanctuary Care provides in-home care for clients to help them enjoy living independently with support from us.
We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Care.
You will support our clients across Coomera, in QLD, on a Casual or Part-time basis.
More Specifically, Some Of Your Duties May Include
Accompanying clients during daily activities, running errands, and going on outings
Food preparation and shopping
Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing, and folding clothes
Providing social interaction and companionship
Transport to appointments
About You
The ideal candidate will ideally have:
Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or a similar qualification - essential
Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year
Hold an NDIS clearance or be willing to obtain one
Hold a COVID-19 Vaccination
Current Police Check or be willing to obtain one
Current First Aid Certificate including CPR or be willing to obtain one
Own a car with relevant insurances
Dementia care qualification – desirable
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
