About The Role

Sanctuary Care provides in-home care for clients to help them live independently with support.

We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Care, supporting clients across Southport in QLD. This position is available on a Casual or Part-time basis.

More Specifically, Some Of Your Duties May Include
  • Accompanying clients during daily activities, running errands, and going on outings
  • Food preparation and shopping
  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene, such as showering and dressing
  • Performing household tasks, including cleaning, washing, and folding clothes
  • Providing social interaction and companionship
  • Transporting clients to appointments
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Certificate 3 in Individual Support or a similar qualification (essential)
  • At least one year of experience in aged care or disability support
  • NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain it
  • COVID-19 Vaccination
  • A current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
  • A current First Aid Certificate including CPR or willingness to obtain it
  • Own car and relevant insurances
  • Dementia care qualification (desirable)
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
