We're on the hunt for freelance Post Producers to work with us
We are seeking Post Producers with strong design and animation experience to work with us on a variety of short-form project work.
We are looking for a sharp and detail-hungry individual, and are open to varying levels of experience.Working with our Post-Production teams in Sydney and LA, you'll have detailed knowledge of post-production processes and thrive on collaborating with creatives.RequirementsProject Management:Support Senior Post-Producer on assigned projects, and wider Post Pro supervision requirements, i.e. resourcing, traffic management & other related adminIndependently manage the post-production workflow & team for assigned jobs including, but not limited to, overseeing post budgets, scheduling staff, overseeing editing, VFX, motion design, sound mixing, voice recordings and colour gradingCreate & manage post-production schedules for all assigned jobsOversee design and animation-only projects as neededOrder or reconcile necessary assets and ensure correct & timely deliveryClient Relationships:Build and maintain collaborative relationships with our clients, rostered talent and post-production team.Share & present content for client review, as well as QC review submissions & final deliverablesCommunicate with clients & agencies to keep them updated on the status of projects & negotiate changes to schedules and budgets as needed.Team ManagementCoordinate with post-production team members to deliver projects on time and to the highest quality.Coordinate with EPs, producers & post-production managers to book and schedule post-production team members.Work with the leadership team to provide input & suggestions to enhance existing post workflowsWork collaboratively with the other teams to ensure the output of work is always of the highest quality possibleImprove the overall creative output of Entropico through teamwork and innovationProvide day-to-day instructions to a variety of technical practitioners, including editors, motion designers and finishersExperienceAt least 2-4 years experience post-producing - or equivalent background in another post management role such as post facility or design/animation agencyExperience of post leadership on commercials, episodic formats or featuresDemonstrable experience of versatility whilst working on briefs for different clients and industriesKnowledge of codecs, cameras and other video and audio file typesDetailed knowledge of post-production processes including offline editing & online colour grading, visual effects, graphics, titling, captioning, mixing and masteringStrong understanding and/or hands-on experience with industry standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci ResolveMust be detailed-oriented & highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects & deadlines simultaneously within reasonHas a strong sense of client servicesDESIREDExperience as sole responsibility for delivering multiple concurrent assets on commercials, episodic formats or featuresAdvanced knowledge of data management - including codecs, cameras & other video and audio file types
