Creative Post Production Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking highly skilled post production professionals to work on a variety of short-form project work. The ideal candidate will have strong design and animation experience, as well as excellent communication skills.
The post producer will be responsible for managing the post-production workflow and team, overseeing budgets, scheduling staff, editing, VFX, motion design, sound mixing, voice recordings, and color grading. They will also create and manage post-production schedules for all assigned jobs, and oversee design and animation-only projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior post-producers on assigned projects, including resourcing, traffic management, and other administrative tasks.
- Manage the post-production workflow and team for assigned jobs, overseeing budgets, scheduling staff, editing, VFX, motion design, sound mixing, voice recordings, and color grading.
- Create and manage post-production schedules for all assigned jobs.
- Oversee design and animation-only projects as needed.
Client Relationships:
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, rostered talent, and the post-production team.
- Share and present content for client review, as well as QC review submissions and final deliverables.
- Communicate with clients and agencies to keep them updated on the status of projects and negotiate changes to schedules and budgets as needed.
Team Management:
- Coordinate with post-production team members to deliver projects on time and to the highest quality.
- Coordinate with EPs, producers, and post-production managers to book and schedule post-production team members.
- Work with the leadership team to provide input and suggestions to enhance existing post workflows.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the output of work is always of the highest quality possible.
- Provide day-to-day instructions to a variety of technical practitioners, including editors, motion designers, and finishers.
Experience:
- At least 2-4 years' experience post-producing or equivalent background in another post-management role, such as post facility or design/animation agency.
- Experience of post leadership on commercials, episodic formats, or features.
- Demonstrable experience of versatility while working on briefs for different clients and industries.
- Knowledge of codecs, cameras, and other video and audio file types.
- Detailed knowledge of post-production processes, including offline editing and online color grading, visual effects, graphics, titling, captioning, mixing, and mastering.
- Strong understanding and/or hands-on experience with industry-standard software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Must be detailed-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously within reason.
- Has a strong sense of client services.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience as sole responsibility for delivering multiple concurrent assets on commercials, episodic formats, or features.
- Advanced knowledge of data management, including codecs, cameras, and other video and audio file types.
