**About the role**:
The **Recruitment Assistant** plays a vital, customer-facing role in our Recruitment team. You will be the first point of contact for new and potential employees, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the recruitment process. Your responsibilities will include managing the recruitment journey, from initial enquiries to onboarding, as well as supporting our farm teams by maintaining accurate records.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:

- ** Engage with Employees**: Provide ongoing support to new employees, helping them navigate any concerns during their first weeks on the job.
- ** Database and Records Management**: Maintain and update employee records, including visa details, work rights, crew transfers, and exits from the business. Ensure all data is accurate, secure, and up to date.

**About You**:
You will:

- ** Have a positive and approachable demeanour**: You'll be the first point of contact for many people, so being approachable, friendly, and professional is essential.
- ** Have excellent attention to detail**: You'll need to handle sensitive employee data with care and precision.
- ** Be adaptable and reliable**: Willing to work flexible hours on a rotating roster, including early starts and increased hours during the peak harvest season.
- ** Be a good team player**: Work well with a diverse group of people and contribute positively to the team environment.

**Essential skills**: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn and use other recruitment platforms.

This position would suit someone with in depth knowledge of Northern Tasmania.

**Preferred but not essential**: Certificate III in Business Administration or similar qualification.

Applications from WHV will be considered for this role however, it does not count towards 88 days of farm work.
