Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Program Manager to lead the design, planning, and delivery of our global cloud infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to drive impactful changes in sourcing and deliver best-in-class business models.
The successful candidate will join our diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. As a key member of our Global Network Deployment (GND) organization, you will be responsible for cabling infrastructure, network hardware deployment, and program management across AWS data centers worldwide.
Develop new concepts and operating models to deliver impactful changes in sourcing.
Manage individual contributor job performance.
Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and negotiate trade-offs as needed.
Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
End-to-end responsibility for the program's execution and success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of project management experience or 7 years of project management experience (experience can be substituted for degree).
3+ years managing teams ranging from 3-10+ direct reports.
Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to travel up to 25%, including domestic and international travel.
Data center and/or cabling infrastructure experience.
Supply Chain experience.
Strong negotiation and contracting skills with ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau.
